| back again! jane n i had missed friends so gathered up some for an awesome fun filled triple date to the citaYyy..

lowell kat me jane ralph n katrina
the freaken midgets lol. but no joke im serious guys we should be oompa loompas for the halloween parade.
after debatin on italy or china we headed east on mott. ok it was either hopkee or wohop. it really didnt matter to me both were new places to me. so i eeny meeny minied my way to pickin hopkee but we were nanghihinayang of the price n thought better of it. wo hop it was:

we were hungry but we still had to decide what food to get. we decided to pay as a group and set 10 bucks per person to spend on whatever. we'd then share the food. now to the pickings:
ralph n katrina in intense concentration:

to the side of them was the co-deliberations of the lowell and kat duo:

n beside them was jane and my back n forth debate:

.....::1 hour later::.....

freakin stuffed man. thats seriously a whole percentage of what couples gotta be doin around the world. freakin eating.
i forgot to mention we had bubble tea also!! ::bleh:: before that so we were stuffed as hell. that didnt stop some of us from gettin some gelato's on the way back to the car. travellin uptown we hit times square:
the midgets right in the front of the center statue of that priest dude with the heart of manhattan around us:

afterwards we banked out some money for some sidewalk creativity. one last pose for the camera jane!:

| as august comes to a close, i had to enjoy summer for at least part of it.
florida was definitely an experience worthy of its share of memories. got to hang out with the family and the gf for an interestingly enjoyable and spontaneous week.
after a night of hot wings, rice, and butterfly effect with a couple of friends, we set out 7:57 in the morning for va beach. i drove the majority to virginia with dad takin over at the bay bridge. im a no-stopover junkie bent on gettin to the destination without any sidetrips. so it got me kinda vexed havin to stop at a wendys or bK coz my mom or someone would suggest lunch. but who can really fault a hungry stomach -once you're there n you eat, you can't complain. took about 7 hours with all 2 food / rest stopovers. spent bout 6-7 hours with the va beach family.
bought a 256ram card for the camera since i forgot the camera adapter that woulda allowed for picture transfer to my laptop. without it, i had to make do with whatever picture space i had. n mark n i bought a football jus so we can throw it around. the ramcard was more of the worthy investment at least for the vacation since the pictures inevitably became the staple of our weeklong adventure.
so leavin va beach @ 10pm i volunteered to drive - i got to sleep a couple hours at my uncles house so i figured id be recharged - so we set out. the north carolina border is jus a half hour from va beach but since i95 was our target roadway we had to travel a good 70-80 miles westward before making our way south. doing that, we got to the n.c. va border around 1 but we pushed full speed ahead upon gettin on i95. n on a sunday night / monday morning, id say thatd be the most ideal time of day n day, to go on i905 with everyone having to prep up for work next day. i got tired finding myself nodding and frequently changing lanes around 430 so dad took over for an hour. then he kinda felt mad tired so mom took over. sounded harmless when she took the wheel, so i even stayed shotgun to sleep a bit - to no avail. i never saw her drive that way before. like a monster unleashed in the break of dawn she drove 100+ switching lanes with no signalling. she was suppose to give my dad n i a break from driving n let us sleep, but the way she drove, there was no way we were gonna sleep. the ordeal lasted a good hour. i was only able to sleep when dad took over again. we got to jacksonville around 8, ate breakfast at mcDz, n set out for the pearl of central florida, orlando, touching down at about 1030am.
1st day was devoted for some rest in the godmother's house and a trip to their mall. you'd think in orlando theyd have some originality and uniqueness to their mall name, but "the florida mall" i guess was enough. jane me mark n marie were thinkin of some names - the orange grove i thought woulda been better but whatever. i bought these nice white osiris shoes - what i call from the 'skater' variety really nice, although when wearin it with socks down, it hurts the achilles alot jus coz of its ridged top curving in, n i bought jean n beach shorts - yes i bought shorts. mall looked enormous n clean, but i chalked up its sprawling-ness to the fact that it had no upper floors. workers were really nice but maybe its jus me.
i love cats too bad we cant have any since people in the house are allergic. godmother had two cats. other one was not all that but i liked frankie:

the difference in sleep should be noticeable. jane got more sleep in the back despite the bumpy ride:

dad was definitely spent:

we set out next day for animal kingdom n mgm:
anticipation n eagerness got us goofily giddy in the back:

but we finally arrived in jus 10-15 minutes from my godmothers place in kissimmee:

here's the tree of life-its huge:

marie got her face done. as one can expect it was for an overpriced sum, but it was a good experience:

us under the tree of life - literally!. this is the group jus before the "its a bug's life" presentation:

one of them sit in a car cardboard things. janes in a better position than me - i look lik im holdin the freakin window lol:

between the two, i like chip better coz dales too prozacky. chips definitely more laid back so we're lucky to get him of the two:

....
 ..... ....no.
then next day, hello magic kingdom:
beautiful aint it? i just kept thinkin family matters, full house, n step by step when we walked around, especially when i saw the castle.
we ate at the crystal palace, owned by tigger n the gang. it was 25 a pop, so we chowed down lik nothin.
we got to hav some pictures with the celebrities:

tigger bumrushed me from behind so i still had food in my mouth.
then pooh came along shortly

i had this tom cruise-like penchant for holdin their tummy for whatever reason i donno. chalk it up to excitement.
iyOr was cool too..

piglet was cool but i really donno what got him to keep on shovin my head...

we lined up and waited an hour for a picture with mickey. it was crazy but id say it was worth it, even though the pic didnt come out all too well:

the camera ran out at epcot but of all the parks id say i enjoyed there the most. we also went to the kennedy space center which was definitely a worthy experience, even though it was - as one again should expect - bias and untelling of the downfalls and the negatively dark side to NASA's history, but thats for another entry.
i loved florida. but we had to leave. and did we didnt go home just yet- we also went to myrtle beach. that was nice except for the weather. white sandy beaches. literally soft as hell n reaaaaally good on the toes. friendly people sayin hi i wasnt used to it. just for a day as a rest over before gettin back to jersey. n when we did get back to the jersey border after crossin the delaware we were greeted warmly by intermittent bouts of lightning and thunder. midnight-1am early monday.

im set to see war of the worlds with jane, her sis, n coupla friends. im gettin gas at costco and she calls up. pass the time away at the line, she mumbles some mumbo jumbo stuff on how she read about how its good to keep the body alkaline, how organic food was good, n how its good to cleanse the colon to prevent cancer usin some organic supplement.
i get so proud. im a healthy skeptic. i hate listening to crazy shit. i always stick to what my mom n dad, n books i read tell me. if its from stuff called "natural healing" or my gf, or just rubbishable stuff, i usually turn a blind eye on it. so im jus lik whatever. go say what u want. i wont believe you was basically my response.
after the movie i go back to the house so jane goes wanna see the book. war of the worlds was OK n i already said how the ending really sucked in the car ride home. i jus finished eatin food from crowns so im full n set, so i go sure, ok ill see the book. whatever, so i read the little inset on the cover n the back cover. im lik ok. "Natural Cures 'They' Don't Want You to Know About". in my head im jus lik ok lemme see what bullshit this is. lemme see the artful articulation of their wordings thatll make me wanna get scammed, in my devil-advocate sorta mindset. so i start reading. n i couldnt stop. its an easy read, so i get to chapter 4. before i know it ive read a good 30-40 pages already. jane n her sis are asleep. n its 144am, been there for an hour.
so that was my day. but i gotta hand it to jane n her sis. n i did. i toldem props for the book. a lot of what the book says although hard to substantiate by concrete evidence, does present itself to be commonsensically legit. makes a lotta sense when i thought about it. very logical. n in a capitalistic, post 9/11 us against the crazy world coz we know everything era'd country we live in, deception is clearly around - from the ads in the paper, to the money-driven colleges, to the tv ads, to tyco fraud - its hard not to argue with the premise driving the book.

comin home i immediately checked out the author's web site. check out the infomercial. if u know you wont believe it, check it out any way. bring all the devil's advocation you want. check out the infomercial on the site n watch its entirety.
dont be like the masses who get forcefed brainwashable info - remember josey n the pussycats? hey it can happen - just have ur own thoughts - forget preconceived notions - n read the book, check the site, and watch the infomercial. theres nothin' to lose. maybe you'll even learn somethin new. so check it out.

I am a unique individual with one goal I am concentrating on: to finish my nursing degree.
Seton Hall university did not give me the chance to do this.
Yes, I admit that a whole reason for this is my lackluster effort. I possess intelligence and when used to its maximum potential, I can accomplish a whole lot.
However, this being said, this is not to discount the need for a positive intelligence-fostering learning educating environment. Seton Hall did not do this.
From my heart and mind to these written words, while having exceptionally gifted fruit-giving teachers, the majority of Seton Hall nursing teachers, sadly, were not of this bunch. Instead, many who will remain confidential, were prejudicely and sexistly condescending, demeaning, and clearly not helping to foster a learning environment that would have suited my nursing educational development.
It is for this reason that I turn to Rutgers to help create the environment in which I will succeed and live my dream of becoming a nurse.
....damn i was choking from that bullshit. whatever. dont think itll work? thats you. n if it doesnt work, i really dont give a fuck. r.u. aint the only school im applyin for anyway. n to top that, i KNOW ive got talent. shiiiiiiiiiiiiit. arrogant fuck. haha. fuck u. | | |
